HMS Transition Program
Tuesday, July 6 — Friday, July 30 8:00 AM — 12:00 PM This program is designed for all incoming 6th and 7th Graders and their parents. As the transition to middle school can be a challenging time for students, parents need to be well prepared to support their child through this process. We invite you to participate in the Tranisition to Middle School Program that will offer English and Math classes and a series of workshops: 1. An Introduction to Hollenbeck Middle School 2. The importance of higher education 3. Supporting Academic Achievement 4. Adolescent social and emotional pressure 5. Preparing for college Come and learn about your child's success in middle school and building their pathway to college. |

HMS Annual Family Night
Come join our sports themed annual Family Night, where teachers, students and families play fun academic games. Play games like homonym bingo, Are you smarter than a 5th grader?, fractions black jack, robot races, animation creations and much more. The evening culminates with a raffle of prizes like Dodger tickets, an autographed Chivas soccer ball, backpacks full of school supplies and more.
